About Our story

Our story

It began as a meeting place for golfers — and grew through the friendships built on the course.

LION Golf Club Ltd. began as a meeting place for golfers, with its inaugural tournament at Kurmitola Golf Club. The participation of Bangladeshi and international golfers, including guests from the diplomatic community, made that first event a memorable one.

Our members play together every Friday, with a monthly golf event on the last Friday of each month. Our annual program includes two golf tours outside Dhaka and one overseas tour. We also host a visiting golf group from abroad in Bangladesh each year.

Golf brings us together on the course. The friendships and connections built through these shared experiences keep LION moving forward.
