LION sides travel to partner clubs across Asia and the Gulf. Places are allocated through the club order of merit, and a travel subsidy is available to squad players.

How places are allocated

Tour places are limited by what partner clubs can host — usually eight to twelve players. They are allocated first to the talent squad, then by order-of-merit standing across the domestic season, then by ballot among remaining applicants.

Squad players travel on club funds. Other members pay their own travel and accommodation but play at member rates, and the club arranges the fixture, the tee times and the hospitality at both ends.

Travelling with the club

Visas and letters

The club issues letters of invitation and fixture confirmations to support visa applications for touring members.

Handicaps abroad

Your WHS record travels with you. Partner clubs accept LION handicap certificates without further verification.

Hosting in return

Members are asked to host visiting sides in Bangladesh — the reciprocal obligation that keeps the circuit alive.
