Fees & subscriptions

Set by the General Body and reviewed annually. Entrance fees are payable once; subscriptions fall due on 1 January.

Subscriptions for members joining after 1 July are charged at half the annual rate for that year.

Payment terms

Payment

Bank transfer or cheque to the club account. Details are issued with your acceptance letter — the club never asks for payment before a decision is made.

Instalments

Life membership may be settled in three instalments within twelve months, by arrangement with the Treasurer.

Refunds

Entrance fees are non-refundable. Subscriptions are refunded pro rata if membership is withdrawn during the year.

How to apply

Five steps, about four weeks. The Membership Sub-Committee meets monthly and every applicant receives a written decision.

    Choose your category

    Ordinary, Life, Corporate or Overseas. If you are unsure, the membership desk will advise — there is no obligation.

  2. 02

    Submit the application

    Complete the online form, or collect the printed form from the club office. Applicants without a handicap are welcome.

  3. 03

    Proposal and seconding

    Your application is proposed and seconded by two existing members. If you know none, the club will introduce you.

  4. 04

    Committee review

    The Membership Sub-Committee reviews applications monthly and writes to every applicant with a decision.

  5. 05

    Joining and induction

    On acceptance you settle the entrance fee and first subscription, receive your handicap record, and play your first club fixture.
