How the record is kept
Order of Merit
Points accumulate across the season and decide places on international tours. The table is published to members after every counting fixture.
Honours Board
Championship winners are inscribed on the club board at the office and listed in the following issue of GOLFERS.
Handicap updates
Scores are submitted to the World Handicap System the same day, so your record is current before you next play.
Disputes and corrections
Scoring disputes are settled on the day by the Captain, under the Rules of Golf as approved by The R&A. Where a decision is contested, a member may appeal in writing to the Executive Committee within seven days.
If you believe a published result or handicap adjustment is wrong, write to the tournament desk. Corrections are made openly and the amended result is re-circulated rather than quietly changed.
