Write & advertise

GOLFERS commissions from members and from writers outside the club, and carries a limited amount of advertising to keep the magazine free to members.

Write for GOLFERS

We are interested in reporting, course architecture, history and argument — and considerably less interested in press releases. If you have spent time on a subject and have something to say about it, we would like to read it.

Send a paragraph describing what you want to write and why it matters. We commission on the strength of the idea, not on a publication history, and we pay a modest fee for commissioned work.

Photographers: the magazine buys single images and commissions shoots around club fixtures. Send a link to your work.

The magazine reaches every LION member, partner clubs in eleven countries, and the diplomatic community in Dhaka — a small circulation, but a precisely defined one.

Full, half and quarter pages are available, along with issue sponsorship, which carries the inside front cover and an acknowledgement on the contents page. Rate card on request.
