LION Golf Club signs development accord with international partner

LION Golf Club Ltd. has signed a three-year development accord with an overseas partner club, covering coaching exchange, tournament access and shared standards for course presentation.

The agreement gives squad players a route to competitive golf abroad without the club owning a course of its own. Places are allocated on the club order of merit, and a travel subsidy is available to players who would otherwise be unable to take them up.

For the partner club, the accord opens a fixture in Bangladesh during a season when much of the northern hemisphere is closed. The first reciprocal visit is expected in the spring.

The club will publish the full terms to members ahead of the next general meeting.
