An evening of golf, friendship and shared commitment to a stronger Bangladesh.
Eleven missions shared a scorecard at this year’s Friendship Round, played in fourball format and followed by a reception on the terrace.
The fixture has become the club’s most reliable piece of soft diplomacy. Five hours on a course does what a hundred meetings cannot: it puts people alongside one another for long enough to talk properly.
The club intends to expand the field next season, with places reserved for missions new to the fixture.
